Michelle, the game itself is rather dull. All luck. I just like spinning them - fun to see how many you can get spinning at once. I tried photographing them spinning, but I just got one green one spinning on the wooden floor - it wasn't a very exciting photo.
I bought the 5 plastic ones on Friday. They are made in China, and the 5 cost me one dollar. We used to have a lot more, some fancy ones, too, but they disappeared. I guess someone enjoyed playing with them.
I enjoyed watching Emily with the dreidels. I inadvertently purchased a set of dreidel-shaped crayons, which I promptly put in my purse, when I realized what they were.
It would be too tempting for her to color where she shouldn't, at her age.

You made them look very interesting to the eye and I have to go look at how you play...Michelle

Very colorful shot. My dreidels are wooden.

The kids brought those from school. Thank you for the rules. It is a good game for the little ones to learn. Is it acceptable to play with coins?
Leora says
Yes, playing with coins is the classic way to play. I'd rather use coins than candy.
Ellie says
I can't resist candy!
